Wes Aull, CPA
Many organizations don't need a CFO or CTO. They need someone who can move across finance, technology, operations, and leadership to help: identify what's possible, map a path forward, and build the accountability to get there.
I've built 15+ years of board and executive-level experience across businesses, nonprofits, and political campaigns. My path ran through client work at Aull & Cooper CPAs in Nashville, a Columbia MBA, and the consulting practice I've grown at Aull & Company — working with solopreneurs, high-growth startups, and larger corporations to leverage technology for insight & growth. What stayed constant: being a thought partner to navigate complexity and make sound decisions.
I'm comfortable at the frontier but risk-conservative by nature. That tension shapes how I work.
Today, I enjoy working with owner-operators wearing many hats, and with organizations deciphering their mission — while building a financial foundation for growth. Growing up around a family business in Kentucky, I watched how my family invested in the people they worked with. That stayed with me. It inspired me to support others with a mission to do something well — while building a culture that elevates its people. The small & nimble can achieve the extraordinary.
Outside of work, I love getting in the dirt in the garden and meadow at my home in upstate New York. Or sitting at the desk with pen & paper.
Matthieu Charneau
Most data work focuses on the numbers. I bring a designer's eye and an artist's intuition to visualization — building dashboards and digital assets that communicate clearly & teams can use.
At Aull & Company, I clean, organize, and analyze data to help deliver insight. I work in Tableau with large-scale datasets to create automated dashboards & reports that are clear & functional for the viewer. I also design layouts, graphics, and brand collateral using Adobe, Affinity, and Squarespace. This combination — analytical rigor and visual craft — came from an unusual path: training as an actor at Cours Florent in Paris, then working in film, photography, and mixed media before moving further into data.
I’m drawn to organizations that prioritize strong collaboration, clear communication, and a shared curiosity for learning and growth. Living in Paris, Lisbon, London, and New York City has exposed me to diverse cultures and systems that have shaped how I think, work, and adapt. These experiences have honed my ability to navigate complexity, move confidently through change, and take on new challenges with clarity and intent.
I continue to be active as a transmedia artist, showing work at Envoy Enterprises in NYC. I received the Best Lead Actor Award at the 2022 CinEuphoria Awards for Name Above Title, which screened at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and the Seville European Film Festival in Spain. Originally from Châteauroux, France.
